Gaming masterpiece, Mario turns 25 years old

Mario, one of the oldest games in the world, who later has a brother name Luigi who came with turtles and fireballs, did not create a huge attention till Japan launched Super Mario Bros. in. All this happened 25 years afo and even today this game has been the most liked game in the history of gaming. It is infact said that playing a bad Mario game is any day better than playing any of the bestest games.
Mario was created with a moustache, wore a hat, he was Italian and wore bright clothes which was contrary to people’s lives those days of early 80s hair was impossible to be shown. Over the years he has been through a number of makeovers but his core features still remain the same making him instantly recognizable. Mario can be seen playing a variety of games: golf, soccer, baseball, also an adventurer, teacher, doctor and a pinball master. He brought about revolutionary changes in the world of 3D games.
The Super Mario Bros in now 25 years old and out with extra lives, hidden areas, swimming levels. This game is included with NES hardware which will make us almost fall in love with it.
This game can be played by jumping on multiple enemies and touching the ground again after gaining points along with extra lives. The latest Mario game with 2D sequels continue to top the charts of game lovers and can be found on both Wii and DS, where it is still sold in huge numbers.
With all this happening and still more to be filled in the half empty glass of Mario, here’s a salute to the gaming legend for completing 25 years and we hope for many more years to come !

Google ME!

"Google me" sounds like a lame pickup line delivered near closing time, but it might also be Google's latest attempt at becoming relevant in social media.
Kevin Rose, of Digg fame, got the speculation rolling Sunday with a tweet that Google was working on a social service called Google Me that would compete with Facebook, perhaps Google's biggest rival for attention on the Internet. On Tuesday, former Facebook executive and Quora founder Adam D'Angelo took things a little further by declaring on Quora that "this is not a rumor. This is a real project. There are a large number of people working on it. I am completely confident about this."
So what might Google Me actually be? No one seems to really know. But it does appear to be somehow related to one's Google Profile, a service that got a shot in the arm with the debut of Google Buzz earlier this year. Google Buzz lets users share links, pictures, and thoughts with friends who find them through their Google Profile, but Buzz hasn't exactly put a dent in Facebook's growth.
That could mean something that mimicked Facebook's news feed within a Google Profile, with status updates, new pictures, and ultimately a fair amount of requests for pitchforks or other digital farming equipment could be in the works at Google. A company representative did not immediately return a call seeking further comment.
Social media has been one of Google's most elusive goals. The company just hasn't produced anything that has moved the needle on social media: Orkut is probably having a good month with the Brazilians in the World Cup quarterfinals, but it doesn't resonate anywhere else. Google Buzz caused a huge privacy flap upon its debut and does not appear to have caught on with the general public once Google fixed those issues. Google Latitude has a decent user base but has been eclipsed by a location start-up--Foursquare--that it actually had the blueprints for in-house after acquiring Foursquare founder Dennis Crowley's earlier start-up, Dodgeball.
But Google has attempted to hit reset on its social strategy in 2010, and Google Me could be the first project designed entirely by that new group. If Google Me does come to pass, expect Google to do its homework on the privacy front (finally) and pitch the service as the anti-Facebook, with clear privacy controls and easily exported data.

Apple iTablet

As for the Apple iTablet, the only thing that is known at this point is Asus will collaborate with Steve Job’s company to create this gadget. And, the rumors also suggest that Apple would be focused on creating this device in order to close the gap between the cost of producing an iPod (retail price of about US$200) and the cost of producing a MacBook (retail price = US$999). For that reason, it is believed that the retail price of an Apple iTablet would be close to US$ 700.
The design of the Apple iTablet is still a mystery, although some analysts predict it will look like an iPod Touch with bigger dimensions. On the other hand, a non-official picture was published on the web but it is very probable that it is a fake picture, judging by its poor design. In addition, some days ago, a video that is supposed to demonstrate a tablet-optimized Wired edition in a Apple iTablet was also published… no official comments from Apple yet. You can see the video below.

Microsoft Courier

As for the Microsoft Courier, apparently, this Tablet PC is in the last stage of development and its features would make it look more like a Booklet than a Tablet PC. Although an official introduction of this device has not been carried out, Microsoft is already studying impressions of some users that have used a Tablet PC, which is a term that refers to computers equipped with a touchscreen (or graphics tablet/screen hybrid) and complex settings, applications and modes.
At the moment it is known that (with regard to the features of the new Microsoft product) it will have a dual 7-inch display with multitouch support where the user will be able to turn over pages, write,  and draw by using the fingers or a stylus pen. The display also will show the battery level and the internet connection status on a side area. In addition, the Microsoft Courier will come with a photo camera on the back of the device, but it is unknown how many pixels will be featured.

Pendragon: The most crazy pen !!

Pendragon is the most crazy pen design I’ve ever seen. It should be still a concept and I really doubt how much effort to make it come ture… and I am not sure do we really need that kind of multifunctonal pen….
The pen has four parts. It’s got the Nib, the Central Unit, the End Part, and the Expandable Units.
The Nib is the writing part. it can be changed to a ballpoint, pen, fountian-pen, mechanical pencil, or digital pen. The Central Unit has, get this, the LED light – important!, a music player, charger input, memory card, and battery. The End Part has a bluetooth connection to whatever headphones you choose to use in collaboration with the mp3s youve put in the Central Unit. Expandable Units! Camera, microphone, laser pointer, chop, corrector, usb connetion, WLAN reciever to connect to computer, internet.

Ultra Slim Mouse

Lukasz Natkaniec presents the OM wireless and optical mouse featuring an ultra slim profile. This probably is the slimmest mouse created up to this date. The main idea about this mouse is to help users hands relax even while working and avoid strain on hands. If you think that the incredible slimness (10 mm at the highest point) can be difficult to apply then think it twice.

The mouse has been made extra wide in order to accommodate a man's hand and provide maximum support. It's pretty much like moving a piece of paper around on a desk with no curled fingers and force. Fulfilling the intended function the design of this mouse also makes it possible to fit it in your briefcase, backpack, luggage, etc.

Window Phone Concept With Weather Forecast.!!

Seunghan Song, who is known for its interesting concepts, has presented one more mobile phone concept- Window Phone. The idea of a mobile phone that looks like a window came to the author’s idea after a meteorologists’ mistake when there was rainy weather instead of the promised sunny day. The concept is a fully transparent phone whose display symbolizes window and shows the current weather.

The author says that the current weather conditions, as well as weather forecast will be received by the Window Phone from a few websites. Unfortunately, most probably this gadget will remain a concept only.

Equip Your iPad with a Camera!!!

Do you know what the Apple iPad lacks? Many things. Beginning with Flash support and ending with possibility to work with USB, memory cards and camera. It is understood that using a camera in an iPad is utopia, however, a webcam seems to be really nice for making video calls. Chet Rosales offers a solution of this problem. His case is equipped with a camera that can be rotated. The iPad is put inside this case. According to the author of the idea such a case will provide additional protection for the iPad if it falls down.
